First visit here—and wow, the reviews were absolutely spot on. My husband started with the loco moco, and it did not disappoint. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, smothered in a rich, savory brown gravy that tied everything together perfectly. I ordered the combination plate of garlic chicken furikake and pork belly —bursting with flavor, beautifully seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was satisfying and incredibly easy to enjoy. Even the sides stood out. The coleslaw was crisp and refreshing, while the macaroni salad was creamy and well-balanced—clearly made with care, not just an afterthought. The spam musubi, though simple, delivered that comforting, classic taste done right. And to top it all off, the malasada ube, guava and cinnamon sugar (personally liked the cinnamon sugar) for dessert was freshly fried—soft, fluffy, and absolutely irresistible. We actually shared with everything because why not, everything is really a must try. Safe to say, this place lives up to the hype—and we’ll definitely be back. Special mention to Marissa who was very accommodating and helpful to us in choosing from the menu.

Holy cow! How does this place not have a line out the door?! This food was sooo good. We are just passing through for spring break, but if we were local, we would probably be eating here on the weekly. We ordered the Chicken Yellow Curry, Soy Garlic Glazed Salmon, Garlic Butter Shrimp, the Chicken Katsu, the Loco Moco, and a couple Spam Musubis. Everything was delicious, no leftovers! I couldn’t even get pictures of everything before we started digging in. I think literally my only complaint would be the lack of parking in the tiny parking lot. We will definitely stop here again on our next CA vacation!

If you're in Orange and want to try a new Hawaiian spot. This place is bomb. The Mac with furikake was amazing. I have never thought to use it on my mac before! The short ribs were delicious, melted off the bone and the rice with grilled onions! Delicious! Lastly the UBE Horchata was literally dessert in a cup. Not only does it look like magic but literally you can taste the rainbow and joy in this cup! Just need to add some edible glitter and a mini umbrella and boom a mocktail of heaven!!! #foodie #hawaiianfood #travelingartist #keoni #ube

Neighborhood Hawaiian restaurant that offers excellent food and service. Parking can be packed during weekends, but drivers come in and out quickly. Food/Drink- 5 stars Everything was excellent. The Mac salad and coleslaw were prepared well. And all their proteins (the pork belly, beef, chickens) were tender and excellent. It's the definition of a cheat meal though, so expect a food coma. I would opt away from the malasadas though (it was a bit plain) Service- 5 stars Food came out quickly and they were decently attentive for being a fast-casual spot Bottom Line Great neighborhood spot that will cure your Hawaiian food craving

Really fun staff, I stopped in to pick up my food to-go, they were really kind to me as I waited (only a few minutes) and I was so busy chatting with them I did not check the chicken dish until I got back to my desk. I was glad it was exactly what I ordered and looked amazing, but also was very fresh and really tasty! Looking forward to visiting again with my family, I will for sure be back.
